The pattern is clearly an applique, and I can see the seam on most of them. They're a bit busy compared ot the plates, etc. But they are solid, they wash well, microwave fine, and hold the right amount. No complaints

These are the perfect multi purpose bowls. Very pretty multicolor design, and the kids love how the inside is a different color for each so they can claim "theirs". Great size for pasta, ice cream, cereal, whatever. They're a win for our house!

These are very pretty and heavy duty.

These bowls are nice and pretty, but extremely delicate. 2 cracked within days from sitting in the cabinet. Disappointing.

These bowls are unbelievably exquisite in design and perfect for my daily morning yogurt and fruit. I will use at least one of them every day because they're not only beautiful - they are sturdy and deep enough to be little mixing bowls when blending together a variety of ingredients. The online image colors exactly match how vibrant they actually are in person and also coordinate amazingly with my Fiesta dishes!

I bought 8 of these bowls, in 4 different colors.They are not expensive and stack well. Size is medium. Use for soup, cereal, ice cream, salad.

You have to get the whole set after you see how cute these bowls are!! Extremely well made!

It is advertised as being both dishwasher and microwave safe. It gets hot in the microwave. Be forewarned.

Larger than I thought, and I love the colors!

I am VERY particular about dishes so I had spent hour combing the internet for dishes that would be the right size to fit in my cabinet. (The cabinet depth was only 12 inches so often dinner plates are too big and then the door will not close completely) I was also looking for plates that were colorful but not all the same. These dishes were all of that and more. They were not too heavy like some and being dishwasher and microwave safe were ideal. But what I was most happy with was the finish on the plate. Many plates can be "gritty" feeling, as if they were not glazed enough. These were smooth and not cheap feeling. They are so pretty and mix so well with all of the other pieces in the collection without being matchy matchy!!

They are bright and beautiful and not too heavy! They're holding up very well. I'm so happy with this purchase.

I use these for popcorn bowls when we watch TV. They're really pretty and so cheerful.
