I have used this make up for over ten years. It is a high pigment but very light once it is properly applied. I have a port wine birthmark that extends over my eyelid and up to my hair line, which I cover using a combination of the lose powder base and the compressed powder base. It is much lighter and the coverage is as good as other makeups like dermablend which covers but looks unnatural.
This seems to make my face look too powdery despite it being advertised as "translucent." Like whenever I powder my face I was adding another layer of make up and it showed (looked unnatural).

I was looking for a makeup line for older skin....hence older lady! Jane Irredale is perfect. This blush is a hint of pink...you don't look made-up...or even like you are wearing blush. I love this product.
