From the front, this blouse is awesome. The fiber content is listed as "cotton," but the weave makes it looks very much like linen. The neckline, cap sleeves, length, and diagonal stitching detail on the front are very nice. There is some stretch in the little sleeves, which is great since I have somewhat broad shoulders. From the back, however, this blouse is not pretty. I am 5'-8.5" tall and weigh 158#, and I ordered a size Large; although the blouse fit well in the (38C) chest and shoulders, I had to tie the back ties very tight, which caused some unattractive bunching and a maternity-ish look from the back. Since I liked how the blouse looked from the front (and was in need of a wardrobe-expanding white top), I whipped out my scissors and sewing machine and made the blouse more fitted. (I had to take several inches from each of the sides; I cut off the back ties in the process.) If I hadn't done this, the blouse would have had to be returned. Without alterations, I'm not sure who this blouse would look good on from all angles - a tall, very very rotund person (such as gum-chewing Violet Beauergard from the Willy Wonka movie, after she turned into a giant blueberry)?
