I bought this blanket because of the moisture wicking properties. It is soft, lightweight and warm. It washes well too. I do wish it were fluffier, but then with the synthetic filling it would be too warm. I have sweated less with this blanket but it is still a tad too warm. I do wish they would go back to a fluffy cotton filling in blankets with a cotton exterior like in the good old days.

The actual size in inches is listed - but, I can say it fits as you probably want and does not go to the floor it is only over hanging to the sides of a 10 inch mattress base. So- 8 to 10 inches off the sides.
