  • I love this statute so much

That I almost didn't write a review because there aren't many left and I may want to buy one for myself (I got this as a gift for a friend who is buddist to mark his beloved pet's grave when the pet died) but it is such a happy sight and so compact and cute, I want one for my own garden now!

Love it! I use it as a bookend on the windowsill next to my favorite chair. Its serene expression is comforting. I greet him when I come home and rub his head for good luck.

  • Snoozing Buddha
    Verified Purchase

He may be only a monk, but I like to think that even Buddha could close his eyes and chill every so often, I have him sitting in a large patio pot of summe shade loving annuals and he is lovely. He's solid, but easy to pick up and move to a new location when the fancy strikes me, maybe even inside. A very nice piece

  • Heavy piece but worth it
    Verified Purchase

Surprised at the weight for such a small item but good for the garden where we plan to put it. It won't get knocked over that's for sure. I would guess it is at least 10 lbs. It has small round pads on the bottom so if you would put it on a table, it won't scratch the wood. We bought it because it was different style and was more unique than the traditional Buddhist monk.
