I love love this bed spread. Every time I walk into my bedroom I fall in love with it all over again. It is not really a throw as its very big but when I bought it I used it as a bedspread which is what I was looking for. All you see these days are comforters and/or quilts. It is very beautifully quilted with vintage sarees and handwork of kantha on top layer and same on the back as its reversible. Little pricey but worth every penny! Absolutely Gorgeous!!
Vibrant colors and a random patchwork. My only issue is some of the silk swatches look delicate and appear to be tearing/stretching at the seams. I want to put this on a guest bed but I dont trust that they will not snag it and make it worse. Maybe I don't need guests to visit so I can just look at this beautiful bedspread and not be concerned.
I love this bed spread It's truly beautiful with a vintage charm. Soo many compliments! I would recommend and buy it again if I had the need enjoy!
In the photos the material appears to be very thin. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it that it wasn't. That it wasnt thin. I would consider it light weight, good for the summers in midwest or as a coverlet over the top of a warm blanket in the winter, Unfortunately, I returned it because it was smaller than what I needed.
Very pretty but I wanted to be able to wash it in the washing machine. Seemed like it might fall apart if I tried to wash it in machine. It is dry clean only. If you don't mind that it is a beautiful bed cover.
