Omg I trusted my gut to order despite the meh reviews and I'm so glad I did. The color is so vibrant and bold. I ordered them in turquoise. The gold detail is so clean. The only thing I agree with the other reviewers is the order. It does smell a bit of chemical but I immediately opened and hung in a hanger (used a little bit of febreeze)! These will look so stunning once they are hung!!!!!

We ordered these valences based on reviews for two separate rooms. One(two orders) set was blue for two windows in the living room and the other was a rust color for our second bedroom. The blue was a rich peacock-sky blue) and the rust was a nice color that was accurately portrayed. I did not give it a 5 as it did not pucker as much on the longer rods as the shorter rod. It also is a bit shorter in length than another valance that is on our other window. The material is very unusual and the gold borders on each piece are another special feature. (they are not found in the picture) I do not hesitate to recommend them as they will make your space unique as well as exotic!

I used the valence in my living room, over two sliding glass doors with vertical blinds. The two valences fit across perfectly. Purchased two colors: pumpkin and green. Both are very beautiful; I plan on purchasing the blue and gold next as I like to change with the seasons. Also, the panels required minimal ironing. I really love every aspect if this item and would recommend.

I really wanted to like these. Unfortunately they're not lined and as a result the excess thread from the embroidered details creates huge blotches when there is any light behind them. I even tried laying them flat on my dark brown couch to see if lining then myself would help but I could still see it.

The valances were made out of cheap material and were see-through. Also, all six of the valances did not have the same coloring on the borders. I did not like the overall appearance of these at all.

These are very beautiful, in my option the picture does not do them justice. However, they have a strong smell- almost chemical smell? I am not sure. I am currently airing them out and researching how to rid this smell hoping there is one. I am putting these in a child's room and currently the smell is to overpowering to use at the moment.

not a bad product, but not what i was looking for. very bright blue valance. just as described. does not go in my grandkids' bedroom.
