nice stand for the 14 inch plate

I have a favorite large plate and wasn't able to display it the way I wanted and this took care of the situation very nicely. You can't see the finish that well anyway when the plate is on it and it is sturdy enough to hold it well. Looks great.

This plate stand is in fact 14 inches tall, dwarfing the plate its holding and showing 4 inches of upper plate stand. Measure you plates before buying a large stand.

Nice color, holds flat plates but not decorate bowls

This stand is great! I bought a crystal tray and needed some way to display it; this worked out perfect. This stand is solid and sturdy enough for the tray, I don't ever worry about it tipping over. The stand is lightweight, and very simple and classic. I was worried about the hinges being put in poorly, but the quality of the whole seems to be great!

I bought this plate stand for my large Navajo baskets that are like a painting in that the surface is where all of the art imagery is. What was especially nice about this stand, and which I was surprised by, is that in the 14 inch size the arms curve a bit allowing for a deeper dish plate, bowl, or in my case, basket. The basket is well supported and doesn't fall down like it did in earlier, smaller holders. The deep rosewood color is especially pleasing and works perfectly with the colors used in my Navajo basket. Great product. Is solidly made.
