Impress your fine Tequila.
These glasses have a welcome handmade aura in-that they each have their own slight variances in the glass. Uniquely beautiful. The nature of red glass is that it occasionally has tinges of orange that glisten in concert with the red in the afternoon light, snazzy! Large volume, no sissy restaurant low volume gig here.
God bless any large volume Margarita vessel. This one has high sides and, as a sailor would recognize, hard chines. That makes for very respectable volume. Drinking "off the rocks" from the rim starts the adventure quite well, as the level goes down it takes quite a "tip" to get the last bit that pools in the inner chine area, about that time the ice comes a-tumblin', --refill early or finish with a straw. That shouldn't be an issue with you amigos that don't mind diluting your Tequila with mushy ice, you know who you are, the "blended margarita" types, the ones with the "brain-freeze" under your sombrero.
Buy them, they are beautiful, dignified, unique, good price and they come packaged very well. ...and don't insult them with lousy Tequila!
