I bought this rowing machine because I wanted something that was easier on the knees and still offer a total body cardio workout. The rower is really heavy and judging by the box/packaging, I think it may have been damaged during shipment. The electrical component didn't work at all. The screen's faceplate was detached when I opened the box but all the wires were still connected (to the faceplate at least). I contacted Great Offer Stock about the issue and they refunded the full amount without any trouble. Other than that, the rower is very sturdy and the seat and handlebar moved smoothly. The tail end of the rower does collapse (upward) for storage but the footprint is still kind of large. Despite having 2 wheels at the front, the rower is heavy and it is NOT easy to move around.

Although this doesn't have all the bells and whistles that a commercial rowing machine has it works well. You can get a very good workout using this rowing machine. I am pleased.

Researched forever,glad I didn't get the expensive one. Quiet, smooth and a great workout won't be sorry.

this item is really nice, easy instructions to assemble and it is very very quiet. It will really kick your butt!

Love this rower! I did quite a bit of research on rowers and found this to be the best mid-range rower. Easy to assemble, folds and very sturdy. It has multiple set programs for resistance control. And it is sooo quiet. I can watch tv at a normal volume, and it takes up 1/3 of the room of a treadmill.

Super easy to put together. Very smooth quiet ride. Haven't figured out the settings for resistance yet. It doesn't come with clear instructions for settings. Overall it's great. It's kicking my butt daily.

I researched different types of rowing machines and settled on magnetic drum based machines rather than the one with other physical resistance. Setup: Took under 30 mins. most of the machine came pre-assembled. User Interface : simple, I am using some of the programs, I didn't really read the manual to figure out everything, just started using it. I also like the blue backlight on the LCD Resistance : can adjust using the dashboard Noise: what noise? this is quiet. I am accustomed to noisy fans on these rowing machines. Plus: mine came with a heart rate monitor strap. I don't know fi this was in the description, but It felt like a bonus
