Built for the real deal....
very solid and heavy blade that arrived sharp enough to shave hair from my forearm. Speaking of forearms....one good swipe with that sucker might go through someone's forearm....I can't wait to try that on the next adult wild hog I butcher.... It feels like a machete but weight-wise it's very balanced, controllable, and lends itself well to chopping raw veggies and meat on a cutting board.
The pommel is a continuation of the solid frame of the knife and is a flat, solid steel 1-inch striking surface that can shatter safety glass....or other things as required.
The grip is hardened resinated plastic and allows excellent transition from front handed to back handed without the pommel interfering.
The sheath is a heavy canvas, internally lined with kydex or plastic. it has tie-down holes for a thigh mounting or can be adapted to molle such as a drop-down thigh rig or a tactical vest. It has a small pocket on the outside with an elastic retention strap that holds a 15-round Glock 22 magazine perfectly.
