The only con is the handle: it's like molded plastic, but seems sturdy and durable. The blade is first class as well as a fully functional sheath. All in all its a good buy for your money: sharp out of the box, tough as nails, seems to be long-lasting and durable, will easily handle nearly all your camping blade chores, and at the end of the day it is most definitely a Ka-Bar. The Ka-Bar brand is an American icon for a reason; spend a weekend outdoors with one of these knives and you'll understand why.
