As a law-enforcement officer I needed a device that would be my “eyes” at night. It had to be user-friendly, lightweight monocular that would produce imagery of good quality. I didn’t want to buy a top-notch unit since there was always a big chance it can be damaged or even broken. Couple months ago I stumbled upon Sirius night vision monocular and it turned out that one of my colleagues had been already using it for quite a while. Naturally, I bought a scope with no hesitation. Now I can say that it produces nice imagery, is comfortable for holding and easy to mount on my helmet. I purchased 3x lens and IR illuminator along and if to compare a picture I see right now to the one I used to see for the last 3 years, the difference is tremendous. My Sirius is able to distinct people at 450 yards and cars at 550 yards. To put it in a nutshell, this scope is worth every dollar I’ve spent, didn’t regret for a second about buying it.
