Works for me I bought this yoga towel so that my hands wouldn't slide during yoga class. It works very well and I'm pleased with my purchase. The only negative for me is that the little raised areas that stop sliding can be painful under my knees at times. It doesn't happen all the time, and it might be the yoga pants I'm wearing at the time, or the position I'm holding.
