CDS is spot on...
Works as advertised. I zeroed my 300 win mag at 200yds, installed the matching turret for 180 Hornady SST bullets and tested at 200, 300, 400, and 500 yrds. ( ran out of space after 500. ) was able to hit the 8" metal plate at all distances. I have not tested using the 10yrd increments between the 100 yrd marks - yet. The only thing I dislike with all Leopold scopes is the short eye length. I have to mount my scopes as far back as possible, - toward the stock of the gun. I looked for different scope mounts for my Tikka - Super Ultralight, but couldn't find anything without raising the scope higher off the barrel. With the Leopold mounted all the way back, I had to re-cut the butt stock to shorten the length so I would be the right distance from the scope, and not having to extend my neck forward. This seems to be typical for all Leopold scope I own. However, once sized properly to the rifle, the CDS system is very effective and easy to use. Especially for a hunting out west when you need a quick adjustment to acquire the exact distance of your target.
