This is a good replacement forend if you need some short rails for a light, but of course the wobble of the stock makes it impractical for a laser sight. It's sturdy, but a bit heavier than most forends. Installation requires disassembling most of your shotgun, as it will with any replacement forend. The instructions are not great, but ATI has videos on Youtube for almost all their products on almost all compatible models. Just make sure you know which rails you want and if you want the swivel installed before you start, because once it's on, you can't add or remove anything without taking your gun apart again and removing the whole thing.
I like this stock because it's big and round and fits my hand better than most smaller forends, while letting me put a light on my gun. If you want to install a vertical foregrip, though, you should get a forend with a full-length rail, as all the rails on this are short and barely long enough for a light or laser.
