There aren't a lot of scout scopes out there. I found the Leupold and the Burris scout scopes. I haven't tried the Burris, but the Leupold has performed perfectly for me. I have it mounted on an M1A Scout Squad (18" barrel). The Leupold performs flawlessly. Crystal clear picture. Repeatable clicks, holds zero, etc. All the stuff you'd expect from Leupold. The magnification is only 2.5, so if you're using it for long shots, a scout setup is the wrong way to go. However, if you're hunting dangerous game and you want to keep both eyes open, and you want a scope so as to eliminate variables with sight alignment, this is a great way to go.
