I guess any child would love zipping into their own tent at night & our son is no exception. The poles could be sturdier plastic, but it's fine.

My grandson has autism and he loves to be in enclosed spaces. Whenever he is at grandma's house, under the blanket he goes. I thought, what a great gift this would make. I was right! He loves it! Now he can play in his enclosed space and do the things he loves to do all in the comfort of his room. Great gift. Sturdy, durable and I'm sure it will keep his interest for a long time to come.

We do't always use it on the twin bed. Can set it up in the living room.

If your limited on space and your child absolutely needs a tent or a playhouse, I highly recommend this! Its simple to put together and Velcros to the mattress cover (that's provided). Its easy to pull off to make their beds. The mattress cover is a cotton type cover for easy washing and the Velcros on stitched on for durability. There is a zipper in the front, with 4 meshed windows. My daughter loves it. I love it for its simplicity.
