80%, great for the price, but... The advertised "Precision ABEC bearings", is misleading, the ABEC is a rating system of 1, 3, 5, 7, & 9, the higher the number, the smoother and easier the ride, you use less energy to propel and maintain movement, simply being "ABEC" does not mean it is high quality, the wheels come with ABEC 3, that equal to a quality rating of 2/5 and they are cheap versions at that, replace them with no less than ABEC 7 or ABEC 9, The wheels have a low rating on the hardness level, probably in the 70's, the durometer or hardness rating does NOT suggest quality, the lower number/softer the wheel the better the grip and they are also fairly wide, better for beginers and/or outdoor skating, if you are an experienced skater and are going to be doing rink skating only , I recomend the 90's or higher and a slimmer wheel, around 54mm to 62mm height, but 32mm width, experienced skaters will have far better control, a quality set of 8 "54mm*32mm" or "62mm*32mm" wheels are pretty inexpensive, but a quality set of 8 or 16 ABEC 7 to 9 bearings can cost in the $30's-$40's +/-, other than that, the skates are great for the begining skater or the once in a while experienced skater and much safer than the rental skates at rinks, other than the suggestions about the bearings and wheels, the Chicago deluxe edition seems to be a good skate at a great value, (just for reassurance, the Chicago Skates company has been in business since 1905 and are famous for the for their moderate to high quality products.) have fun :)

Great Boot/Great Price My son has worn Chicago skates for the last (5) years. They hold up great and the inside has a leather lining, which is a huge plus. I normally would try and buy Riddell, but the quality isn't much better unless the outer of the boot is leather. This skate seems to hold up under any tricks, and pressure that he puts on it. I always buy them two sizes larger and use a gel sole, it helps with the growing spurts. Overall a great skate, which I have given his old pair to my sister, who invested in the Riddells, only to discover two years later that the boot is still too stiff and not loosened. She tried on these Chicago skates and fell in love with them! We are skating enthusiast and truly enjoy this hobby and passion, not to mention a great deal at a great price.

Nice skates but leather too hard Seem to be a very strong product but the leather was far too hard for my feet. I had to give it away because there was no cushion in the shoes. Rubbed the side of my feet too hard.

Disappointed I was expecting a softer leather skate. These were really stiff and when I tried them out they didn't roll very smooth. I adjusted the wheels a little, but in the end decided to send them back. I'm looking for a little more quality; however these were a good price.
