Instructions: take out of box, screw onto pre-built rocker, attach handles, insert 2 AA batteries for the bear sound (batteries in a screw-on battery case in velcro pouch in bear's belly), and he's ready to ride!
Soft plush and great movement even on carpet. My baby loves it and it's great for occupational therapy - getting those neck muscles strong! The bear sound is loud and amazing, but some might find it goofy - in that case, I suggest just not inserting batteries, but there's a squeeze my ear sewn-on notice on his ear to activate the roaring. Just a head's up! It looks very nice in the play room. It ain't no ******* ******** plush rocker, but it's good quality and you just can't beat paying less than half of what they charge. This is more cute than preppy, which I like more for my kids at this stage anyhow.
