We got this to make it easier for our older, arthritic kitty to find her way to her litter pan. She and her younger sister have a loft room dedicated for their bathroom needs, however the steps up to it were getting harder for the one to reach easily. We searched high and low for a spacious, attractive enclosure such as this one and couldn't be happier with our selection. It is of suitable quality for that it is - but also sturdy and furniture-like. Its certainly not our best piece, but, hey, it's a litter box! We have the additional step up to make it easier to climb into, but my husband did have to add an additional 2x10 underneath the step to make the climb in a bit easier for our old gal. It's funny, both kitties actually love to use this space as it affords them a certain privacy that even having their own loft bath wasn't able to...we may have to buy another for the youngster, now! I would, as we are very pleased with our purchase.

This is a nice piece of furniture for it's purpose. It discreetly hides the litter box and looks nice doing it. Not too cheap looking and not too difficult to put together. Only complaint was there was a small nick of the wood on the corner of the door but not bad enough for me to return and easily touched up with wood stain. i would recommend and I am pleased with this product.

For the price I think the quality is there. It was a little difficult to put together, but other than that the only additional thing I wish was added would be the ability to roll out the box for easier access to cleaning. Kitty loves it!

Thought I was ordering the enclosed box and I even denied the add on litter catcher paw pad. I only received the paw pad and no enclosed box. Awful

The overall concept of having a hidden litter box is great. This "furniture" looks great in what is now deemed our "cat room". The furniture was easy enough to put together, but the only down side was the doors. There are adjustments that can be made but I never really got it to where I wanted it until I put the draw in. They should have some kind of little door stop on the inside bottom to help. Seeing as I am not the one who empties the box, I can not comment on the usability but I have heard no complaints from the person who is in charge of that chore.

We are very happy with this purchase. We got the large size, and it is great. Putting it together was not hard, but the diagrams were a bit small in yhe instruction booklet. It smelled a bit like lacquer but overall the wood looks nice and the lacquer is even and has a glossy sheen (not ultra glossy). Our cat loves it very much. We have dogs, and this makes her feel more secure. It also looks great. No more is it an eyesore. Also I really appreciate the design with the plastic tray inside, which keeps the litter or any debris from getting on the inside of the cabinet. To clean, I just slide it out. The one con is that this is not a heavy duty piece of furniture and I would not put anything heavy on top of it. Also the pegs for the top allow you to remove the top and change the side of the entry hole, but it means if you want yo move it, you should not carry it with your hands grasping the top. It's not like the top is loose but you could pry it off if needed. Overall great product! I am happy with my purchase!

It looks great and has plenty of room inside; be careful putting together, not all the screw holes line up. Requires a little work.

I think this is a great solution to unsightly and smelly litter boxes. It was easy to put together and it is large enough to fit a jumbo sized litter box with a lid. My cats took to it right away and it looks SO much better than the old litter box. You can choose which side to put the opening on so it is easy to fit this into your décor. Great product.

this was my first purchase from Great Offer Stock. After receiving a call to make sure I actually purchased the item, I received it in 2 days! I was expecting an mdf product but it was actually solid wood with a beautiful natural mahogany stain. Wonderfully built and easy to put together. Only took about an hour! It is beautiful and functional! I love it!

very well hidden litter box.

I wanted a classier-looking enclosure for my cat's litter box, which resides under my stairs. This has been the perfect fit and she took to it immediately. Fits an XL-size litter box, which is nice because I looked at a bunch of litter-box cabinets and many of them are too small for this size box. Was also super easy to put together and is sturdy/nice material.

I was not fooling myself into thinking I was buying a fine piece of furniture. It very nicely solves the problem of the 'elephant' in the room - the litter box. The instructions could have been a bit clearer, but I figured my way out of a couple of wrong turns. The opening is facing a wall and to anyone who didn't know, it looks like a cabinet.

Nice looking piece of furniture but feels weak when you touch it. A set of power tools and extra screws would make the chest resilient. My cat likes this litter box disguise and is using the box inside. Its more than large enough, something many other solutions are not. Can't wait to get the litter catch for the entire experience of not having litter on the floor. The chest is a nice addition to a room and is very functional so I recommend it and suggest having a friend or relative to help out on the build.

So I don't know why some buyers complain but I actually think it is sturdy and the wood is great ; easy to assemble if you tight the screws correctly and also follow the manual. I had no issues putting it together it was pretty easy I used everything that came with it. The cardboard plastic box ,I put in my cats litter box and fits great. The only issue was putting the doors together that was a pain :/ but overall once you have it together looks nice.
