Doghouse for my 50Lb dog This is a nice dog house. However, I have a puppy who is a chewer and she was attracted to the strong smell of the wood. Within a few days he had destroyed a good portion of the inside of this house. If you have an older dog who will simply stay inside the house perfectly content then I'd recommend it. Protects from sun and provides shade. For an active puppy it just wasn't durable enough.

Great dog house! This house is great, and not just "for the price" - it really is awesome. It was easy to put together, looks great, and is very sturdy. The hinged top is nice too. I would highly recommend this dog house for any medium/large dog. :)

Trixie Large Dog House was a great value! The Trixie Natura Large Flat -Roof Dog House was very easy to build. and the manufacturer put some real thought into adding a few more screws to the design so that it was very sturdy and very well built once together. With the hinged top, it was perfect for our needs to add a heated bottom and provide shelter for two outdoor feral cats. The Large size is not sufficient enough for a large dog. The design is easy to remove flooring for cleaning. and it is lightweight enough that one person can move it, yet it is very sturdy.

Not very sturdy I have large dogs that are hard on things. This dog house may not hold out. When my dogs jump on top of it, it seems flimsy. I would not recommend for rough dogs.
