I carefully reviewed the purchaser's remarks when looking for a car seat for my Maltese. I was so happy I waited till I found this car seat, as it is comfortable for her and she loves that she is so high up she can see out the windows.

Our little Bobo wants to look out the window! But she has to sit in the driver's lap to do so. Which is uncomfortable on long trips. This car seat is perfect! She can "rule the road" from the passengers seat. She's 8lbs, and this is big enough, in fact, I'd bet it would be OK for a 10 lb or maybe even bigger dog. Highly recommend.

Excellent quality, roomy for my small dog, he loves it.....safe and secure. Went on a 2 week road trip and Rebel was very comfortable.

Seems like my Javanese don't mind jumping in and settling down. Really only fits one for longer trips (about 12 lbs). Both can fit for short trips.

my little doggies enjoy gazing out the car window in the seat. Of course its in the back seat. Tends to keep them from coming into the front seat and bothering me while I'm driving.

Perfect size for a 10 to 12 pound poodle with long legs. Perhaps up to 15 lbs would be OK. Sturdily made. I set it next to his cage in the living room, and he immediately jumped in and settled down. It's become one of his favorite places to sleep in the house. I may have to get another just for the car. It fastens in securely with a seatbelt, too, as some were having an issue with that.
