Based on the picture and the questions asked and answered, I thought the pad was going to be actual memory foam like a memory foam mattress. It is not. It is a squishy pad that feels like it is full of regular polyester fiberfill. I have not torn it open to see what it IS exactly but I know what it is NOT - an orthopedic memory foam mattress. Also, the bottom of the cuddler is egg crate.

We have a 75 lb Lab and she loves this dog bed. The sides are firm enough to hold up to use. Soft & comfy.

My dogs really like these beds! teh sides are strong and firm, the pillow is soft and fluffy. Great buy. I might buy two more for my daughter's dogs.

My little boy loves his new bed. He is a 12 lb. Shih Tzu. I purchased the medium size bed and he loves to stretch out in it. He loves the extra padded pillow that came with it also. I like that the cover can be easily zipped off for laundering. The sides are nice and sturdy. I have been searching all of the stores for a bed like this and haven't been able to find one with a removable cover. None of the store bought ones are this nice and the prices for them are ridiculous. This is a nice bed with a nice price. If you are thinking about purchasing this dog bed, do it, you will not be sorry.

Soft support for my dog. She sleeps very comfortably all night.

We wanted a purple, supportive bed for a 45 lb Staffy, that she could nestle in. After looking for weeks, I found this bed. It came quickly, and as soon as I put it out for her, she got in and slept for 3 hours. That was a nap...and she loves her new bed! The color is beautiful, the cushion, just the right support and give, and the cover is washable. I couldn't be happier. Bigger dogs like to snuggle just like small dogs, but finding a large enough bed isn't easy. Most I saw start at 75. The price on this Cuddler is wonderful ! Very happy.

We purchased two of these, to try to keep the dogs off the furniture. Both dogs love them. In fact, they spend a lot more time napping then before we had the cuddlers!

My dog loves this bed. Sleeps through the night, and I put the cushion on top of the kennel pad during the day as its so cushy and she is very comfortable.
