This is wonderful! Matches my wood trim and looks custom made. Best for smaller dogs as big dogs could probably jump over it. Stable and short enough I can step over without undoing it! No holes in the wall to anchor it.

We got this for a small dog. It stays up permenantly so it is very important that it is easy for adults to open. It is working well and is sturdy and attractive.

havent hooked up the receiver yet as in a remodel but when its locked the wind doesnt get through

Ready to go out of the box. All sides already attached. Super nice quality. Able to make multiple configurations. So useful and my puppy is so ornery, I'm ordering another for a different room. I was able to zip tie hanging toys on the sides for entertainment and distraction. Great product. Much better than ***** alternatives and cheaper!

not real sturdy but keeps the dog in the other room, have a pit bull and puggle, golden retriever and chihuahua's, and they don't cross it, love it, a fence is a fence, they don't try to jump it etc.,

This has been an excellent choice, but there were some doubts at the beginning since we were so use to having the door opened for us to get on the enclosed patio. Once we learned how to come and go through the door, it has been great. Meow Meow

This was easy to put together and install and its adjustable.

I bought this as a set with the Steel Extra Wide Pet Gate with extensions. Took out a set of interior french doors to open up a room, but still allowing to keep our animals blocked from running the entire house while we are not at home. Very Durable. Love the look.

This gate easily fit our room's opening of 55" with almost an inch to spare on each side. The dogs have an easy view of whats going on through the bars of the gate. This has to be one of the best purchases we have made in a very long time. It solved several problems for us relating to our dogs. There were minor glitches installing it but nothing that could be overcome relatively easily. The template they provide for securing the latches to the walls are off for the gate side attachment. You have to work with the measurement some but once you have it in place, this works exactly as advertised. Dont know why the one reviewer said the gates werent wide enough. Absolutely isnt true. The screw-in adjustment make for a custom fit. Very happy with both that we bought.

I bought this to use to keep my Greyhound in my office while I am away from the house. I have another gate that is made by Safety 1st - the S1st gate is a great deal more sturdy and it remembers the position you put it in so that you do not have to resize it every time. This gate is easy to take down but it does not remember the position so you have to size it up each time. It is not difficult to put up but you will probably need two hands and maybe a foot. Overall, it is a good gate for the price. It works well for what I need it. It is not the best gate around but it what I needed.

I wanted a non-permanent metal gate to mount in a doorway upon certain occasions to contain two small dogs. Checking dimensions of the opening size between the gate's spindles, I thought this gate would be a solution. Unfortunately and to my surprise, the dogs' size still turned out to be small enough to squeeze through. BUT - I liked the ease of installation/removal, good construction, the availability of having a gate when needed. So, I purchased a panel of metal mesh cut to fit the gate, affixed it to the gate, and solved the problem of "squeeze through space." So - overall the gate is great, and with a little added ingenuity I made it fit my needs.

Put on a outside door. We just lock open the screen door. In the evening we lock the cat door and close screen. Although it says weather proof..can still let in some cold air. This way no extra cold air gets in the house.

This gate works great for my living room, as it keeps the dogs out and off the furniture. Easy to fold and move away if I'm having guests over. My dogs will not attempt to jump it, nor are they the type to push-

I am using this gate every day to separate my dog and my grandson, though never are very happy about that. This gate stays in place, even with my grandson pulling himself up on it. Would definitely recommend this for anyone with a large doorway or opening that doesn't want to use screws to hold it up. Holds in place with pressure bars.

I have a two year old Pitbull who had surgery cause he ruptured his ACL and must be contained for the next four months. This pen gives him room to walk around and to stretch out but keeps him safe. I'm so very happy we found this at OS !!!!

sticks a little but once the cat realized it was a way to annoy the dog she was all about it

I bought two of these pet gates for my laundry room and hallway. They are very heavy and look really nice. I really like that they swing closed and latch once you walk through. They are tall enough that they keep my dog contained and just short enough that my old cat can still jump over.

I LOVE this gate! My friend had one at her house and I fell in love with it and had to order my own. Most gates are large, clunky and such an eye sore. This one slides away when your not using it and is very simple and unobstructive when you are. We have a banister rail on one side instead of a wall, so we were having trouble finding a gate that worked with a post. We were able to just zip tie it directly to the post. It worked perfectly and hasn't given us any problems after well over a year.

Good gate. Comes with clips that screws into wall so the gate doesn't move. I don't use them and the gate still stays in place unless pulled or pushed too hard. My pitbull mix was able to jump the gate but we trained him to stay on the other side. Overall good quality.

We have the shorter 22 inch tall version of this gate. We've had it for 5 years and love it for our small dogs but It didn't take long for our 10 pound chihuahua to jump it. We use it to block our entryway to keep the dogs from charging at the door whenever we have guests. Finally decided to go for the taller version with the door. We Love it!!! Door swings either way and you can also set it to remain open unassisted. Best feature ever is our bad boy chihuahua can no longer free willy over the gate! Nice quality and looks great!

Ordered this for my 9lb Pomeranian. Very air tight and high quality product. Had a handyman install. Dog loves the independence of the door. Took one day to train my dog to use. Will change your life with a pet. No more worries about accidents.

Easy to asemble, sturdy but stylish. The swinging gate makes it easy to pass thru the door way. Much better than the old style baby gate

The gate seems to be very sturdy-- we are using them outside on our deck. They do not always automatically close though and sometimes the bottom does not latch all the way unless you shut it very hard but we are happy with the gates and they seem to do a great job. They also shipped very quickly.

But as I said on the length of gates themselves- they are not as sturdy as they look - or for the cost as well.

Works best in case openings. Foot positions can be angled to fix other most door openings or on stairs.

Wood is very soft. One hard knock/trip into it tore up the wood. I was able to Gorilla glue & duck tape it back together.

Well it's February and our neighbor dog broke our dog door (that only cats use) on one of the coldest nights this year. My fluffy cats were freezing with a gaping hole in the door. MEOW! We are happy & warm once again!

We've had the opportunity to use and install the KidCo Angle Mount gate and really like it. It's easy to install, especially if you use the installation kit (not included, costs extra). Because of it's design, you can install in a location that doesn't necessarily line up straight - at a bit of an angle for example. This is a really convenient feature, as we've used other gates in the past, and because the studs in the wall don't line up perfectly from one side to the other, we could install it in a bit of an angle. The only thing that we found is that the locking cap came off easily, but I just bent back the locking clip a bit, and it now works perfectly. Also, after a bit of use, the mechanism that prevents the gate from opening in the opposite direction seems to spin a bit. It still holds in place, but with a bit of force can move out of place. We found that our older kids seemed to push it too hard when trying to latch the gate, but after showing them how to lock it properly, we no longer have this problem. What we like most about it, is that it is really light weight, and that it can easily be removed if you need to more space when moving furniture etc. Watch our video review below. I bough this kit several years ago. I have it to this day. It has been a great purchase. My arch opening between the dining room and living room was a little bit wider than the gate, itself. Adding this kit made the gate work perfectly, for my needs. Definitely would recommend.

Once the cutout in the door was made, it was easy to install and is veyr handy to have.

I am very pleased with these gates. I ordered two of them to block off a sleeper-sofa in my "dog room" so that the dogs couldn't climb on the sofa. I have two big dogs (60 and 75 pounds), and they have not knocked these over or jumped over them. The gates are nice-looking and easily adjustable to different sizes. The only downside is that they were a bit unstable (rocky) when I first put the feet on them (the only assembly required), so I had to add an extra screw to stabilize them (not difficult -- just required basic tools). I've been using these for about six months now, and they are working out very well. Much nicer looking than the plastic alternatives.

Very happy with the quality of the gate. Do not find it hard to open as some commenters have noted. The only issue we have is that we had to mount it above baseboard because it isn't flat (there may be a way to do this that we could not figure out). This forces you to lift your feet about 4 inches to walk over gate. I make sure there is a night lite on in the area so I don't trip over it in the middle of the night. Otherwise, it has done its job and looks like the picture.
