I have 4 cats and am also a foster mom for a cat rescue so there are always a lot of kitties in my home. I only buy Armarkat because quite simply, the quality is unmatched, in my opinion. They're also very affordable and you get waaaaaaaaaaaay more than you pay for with this brand. This tree in particular I love because not only is it large with many perches and sisal posts for my furkids. but it also cleans up beautifully! I simply use my vacuum's brush attachmentsand and instantly the tree 'fur' looks brand new! This is not the case with the fleece trees. I love my armarkat fleece cat trees, but they are more difficult to clean and they start to look worn with heavy use after only about a year or so. I should also mention that the perches and houses are VERY ample in size. I have 2 kitties here over 15 lbs and they have plenty of room on and in every part of this tree- my 16lb guy loves to roll around on the perches (begging for pets) and he has pleanty of room to do so. If you do have a larger cat, I'd suggest putting the tree in a corner or against a wall- even though these trees have weight and balance, a 15 to 20 lb kitty running up it or jumping down from it has enough power to sway it a bit. Before I recieved this tree I did not think I had enough room in my apartment for it (and took a chance by purchasing it), but I did! I simply left off the ramps (in my experience only kittens use them anyhow) and 'flipped' the direction of the lowest left-sided paltform. The holes still lined up and it made the tree tuck nicely into the corner. This is the best tree I've bought and I HIGHLY recommend it. Do yourself a favor and PRESS 'Add to Cart' NOW if you are on the fence about it. Your kitty(ies) will love it and so will you. Also, as with every Armarkat tree, it is a cinch to put together.
