Quality furniture dog retreat! My only complaint is that the wood panels had to be washed, dried, and polished when we unpacked them to remove spots of white powdery mold. The crate parts were shipped in a big cardboard box that had probably been stored in a dark warehouse. The crate was easy to assemble and looks like a beautiful table in my living room. I put a thin mattress and soft blanket in the bottom and my dog went right in and went to sleep. We have swung the door in to leave it open so our dog can freely go in and out. Just what we needed. We could have ordered medium instead of large as our dog is only 30 lbs, but wanted her to be able to stretch out. There is more than enough room for her to do so. I'd recommend this to a friend.

looks like furniture I bought the large size for our Beagle. He's comfortable and the crate looks like furniture. We've had many guests comment that they can't believe it's a dog crate. The only draw back is that our dog decided to chew on some of the side rails - not easy to hide damage once it's done.

Great crate Very pleased with this crate. The color was just as pictured. We ordered the large and it is huge for our little dog but gives her a great amount of space. Easy assembly. Makes a great addition to our family room, most people don't realize it's a crate.

Pet crate The crate is very easily assembled. It has a nice look that blends well in our relaxed living room environment. We purchased the large size. It does feel large in the space, but it is the appropriate size for our dog. It might help to lightly tape out the measurements beforehand so you can better see the room required. It is a good product.

Nice pet crate This is a nice crate. It is nicer than a cage and serves as a table. The color and wood tone are nice but there is some color variance in the stain. In all, the hardware is solid and am happy with the purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for I was looking for dog crates that weren't the ugly plastic ones. We have 2 dogs and their ugly crates were driving me crazy. I did a lot of reviews on different wood crates and this one by far had the most positive reviews. I have only had for a month but so far they have held up great. My dogs are 40 & 50 pounds. they have room to move around and stretch out. . While the large size is bigger then a side table these look great upstairs. I would not use the large on my main floor but if you have a smaller dog these would fit in well.

Nice Nice crate, easy to assemble - looks very nice in our foyer and our 85 lb dog loves her new home. 2 minor issues: 1) the instructions were inaccurate - often speaking of the large screw or small screw when in fact all screws were the same size 2) the door does not offer an option to select which way to swing. Overall a good buy.

Pleasantly surprised I purchased the large dog crate in espresso finish. It was easy to assemble, and looks very nice in my living room. Once I placed a lamp on top and framed photographs it became almost hard to recognize as a dog crate. I am very happy that had this in stock and at a much better price than I've seen elsewhere. Just had a Christmas party and all were impressed that it was a dog crate and not some sort of over large mission style end table. Now I have to convince my Weimaraner that she will "love" this crate as much as her big ugly plastic one and hope that she does not fritter away the hours frantically chewing the "bars." I'm a little concerned about the latching system. I'm not that convinced that it will be strong enough to contain her and her wily ways.

Lovely Heavy box, but easy to assemble. Probably could have gotten the medium, the large might be a bit too large for my 65 lb German Wirehairs. Looks like lovely furniture!
