We enclosed our formal living and dining rooms with these very elegant white wooden step-over gates And they work! so as to keep our two Bedlington Terriers out in a humane and safe way. No pain! And, they work!

Looks really nice in my place. Nice alternative to typical pet gates. Easy to assemble.

It didn't serve the purpose of why I purchased it, but I was able to find another use for it. It's extremly light and my mini schnauner puppy could knock it over. Not a good buy.

The Step Over Gate is perfect to keep my dachshund out of areas that I don't want her in. It's tall enough so she won't try to jump over it, but low enough for me to step over. I also like the color choices. The walnut colored gate matches my trim and moulding so it blends in well with my decor.

I have used this gate for about two weeks now and am happy with it. We have two shih tzus and this size gate is perfect for them. Neither one of them jump up on it though so I am not sure how much this would stand up to that type of use. Color was exactly what I wanted, it blends in perfectly with our hardwood floors so it "disappears". Good value for the money, similar looking gates on other sites were much more expensive.

Gate looked better online than in person. Would never recommend.

I bought the dark wood gate to take to work with me to match my office furniture. It looks like it all belongs together. Great pet gate! Would love to have a door in it like some other gates do.

The gate is attractive and easy to navigate over. If you have a dog that jumps over everything or will push through things, this is t the gate for you. There are too many reviewers giving negative reviews because their dog is not trained well enough to understand boundaries. If your dog regularly jumps over items like this, either train them not to jump or install a door. If your dog pushes barriers aside, then securely fasten this to the wall as the instructions indicate. I own a 45 lb athlete of a dog who has been trained that this gate signifies an off limit area and she never try's to go over or around it.

Not only would never ever purchase this item again I would not tell a sole.

Love this pet gate. Purchase one and love it so much that I ordered two more. Like the step over feature...tired of opening gates. Live the expandable feature as we have a lot of double door openings.

I moved into a home with base boards and my pressure gates became problematic, plus they mess up the walls. I have three Lhasa's and this gate is just high enough to comfortably walk over while still discouraging the girls from jumping. I went with the walnut finish because of the dark floor in this home and it looks great. The price seems high for such a small product, but having seen the same thing in local pet stores for $$$ I was happy to find it here at O for a much better price.

These gates work perfectly for confining our 6 pound Chihuahua to the kitchen area. They are easy to step over or move aside when not in use. The are attractive and blend nicely with our oak wood work. Not sure they would work as well for a larger dog.

We were so tired of light, easily bent, foreign imports that we jumped on the purchase of this AMERICAN MADE gate. (We bought two gates and one extension.) They turned out to be pricier than the imported gates, but worth it in quality comparison! These gates seem quite capable of lasting longer than the normal life time of our pets. The imports had been replaced several times. The gate's HEIGHT (20" when assembled) is perfect for small dogs such as our Lhasa Apso and Shih Tzus and is also easy for most people to simply step over. My husband and I are in our 60s and would occasionally catch the tip of our toes on the top of the higher gates when crossing. Hence this is also a safer gate FOR US as we age. The product is very STURDY and its APPEARANCE is nicer than most other gates I found in my search. ASSEMBLY was also very simple and quick to complete. Only tool needed was a Phillips head screwdriver. I will most definitely buy this again when I need to replace the only remaining import gate on the second floor. Hopefully, the price will be reduced.

These gates have made puppy training so easy. Just tall enough to keep her in and low enough for me (a below the knee amputee) to step over. They are actually really pretty too, the look great with my wood floors . I could not be happier with my purchase.

The gate is heavy but not sturdy, Although I realize it is not made for exterior use, I use it outside and the wind knocks it over. I had to add wood to the base to make it stable.

I have two small dogs and this product was not at all useful in keeping them where they need to be. Not only can they jump over the gate, but they quickly figured out how to scoot it aside and walk right past the barrier. I've repurposed the gate to use as (expensive) garden trellises.

I bought this as a way to keep my pug out of the living room when I'm not home. I've had full-sized gates in the past, but they're a pain to move every time I want to get by. This one does the trick. It was easy to assemble and iis easy to step over, yet my pug can't (or doesn't) go over it. It does have the option to screw it into the wall, but I just use it as a moveable gate, so that I can just put it aside when I don't need it.
