I needed a file cabinet to fit into a small space. This "letter" size file cabinet fits the bill. I like the pearl white color and the 3 drawers. It will hold quite a few files and office supplies. For what I paid, I'm happy with my purchase. It's a good file cabinet for a home office. It is sturdy in the sense that it will hold up, but it is not super thick metal for a public office, where you must worry about theft. In a public area, it would be easy to kick in and/or break the lock. I simply need to lock a drawer for privacy, but don't have to worry about robbery, etc.
Only the first 2 drawers lock. I wish the bottom one locked also. The drawers only open 3/4 of the way. I can deal with both features (not a great hardship really) because I didn't want to spend more money to store supplies and papers.
The only parts to assemble are the handles, which was simple. The handles look fantastic, making a cheap file cabinet look expensive. For the money, it's a winner and will not fall apart.
