Comfortable chair...
After trying to find a comfortable, armless desk chair locally, I decided to take a chance on this one, as the armless chairs I found at local retailers (Home Goods, TJ Maxx, etc) were very small. I'm not a large person (male, 5'7", 145 pounds), but the chairs I found were just tiny. This chair is perfect and surprisingly, very comfortable. The seat and back are actually softer than I'd expected (good thing), as I've ordered dining chairs from in the same kind of "leather", that were as hard as a rock. I purchased this in black and it has a nice, matte finish (like a new leather car seat). It was easy to assemble (toughest part was attaching the back to the seat, but it wasn't too bad). The castors just pop in (no tools required), the seat screws onto the base (with a phillip's head screwdriver) and then the back screws on with the same screwdriver and you simply insert the seat base into the base with the castors (again, no tool required). The pneumatic device (to raise and lower the chair) works great. There is no way to recline the chair, but the chair in no way sits too forward and seems to be set in the perfect position, so I would never need to lean back or forward, regardless. I think this is the first 5 star rating I've ever given on ... The chair is definitely worth it.
