  • Disappointed!
    Reviewed at //www.command.com/

I used to buy a lot of those white hooks and they work fine even after a year or two. I've recently moved to new apartment and bought these black strip for photos. It is suppose to hold up to 16lbs and my photo was less than 3 lbs, I've followed every instruction on it. It works find in the first week and then fell off the table and hit my foot. This is absolutely unacceptable!

So I bought my Command strips at Target yesterday and I am very upset. I bought the 16lbs one hoping they would do the job without me damaging my apartment walls.. it worked perfectly the first day . I used four strips on each of my frames and today one shattered all over my carpet today .. I have always used command strips and I was very upset when this happened.. I guess I will have to use nails now so my picture will stay in place..

My picture was hanging for approximately 4 months, followed the directions to a tee, and suddenly today the picture came off the wall along with the paint, I thought the idea was to eliminate damage to the wall.

I bought these strips last weekend to hang a mirror in my daughter's bedroom, just a full length no frame plastic mirror, SO under the weight limit using the 4 strips included in the package. Within hours the mirror fell down, we refastened the strips to the wall again and a few days later again the mirror fell down.

  • I have tried multiple ...
    Reviewed at //www.command.com/

I have tried multiple times to use these to avoid holes in walls since I have been instructed not to put holes in them. Each time I am disappointed, I have spent so much money and now my stuff is breaking. I have weighed my things to make sure they are not too heavy, it doesn't matter, they don't even last a few hours. I have had pictures fall and a small metal rack fall twice now and the last time it broke, I can't even get to my picture because it is behind the tv. Empty walls it is. Be aware this stuff is a rip off, not worth the paper and packaging it is in.

  • So much for my vintage frames
    Reviewed at //www.command.com/

I created an amazing collage wall from my collection of vintage frames. I followed all instructions because I did not want anything to happen to my collection. Everything was fine for about three months and then they all started falling off. I lost 4 of them before I finally took the whole wall down. It would be fine, except that one of them ripped the paint and plaster from the wall. Now I have to repair the spot and repaint it, plus repair the frame. Awesome. No short cuts people. These things are worthless. Just hammer in a nail.

  • Broken Frames
    Reviewed at //www.command.com/

This product worked for a while - then all of a sudden all my pictures started dropping from the walls and there was damage to my frames (broken glass, dented rims, scratches, etc) I would not recommend this product - it doesn't last and it costs way more than nails to purchase, not to mention replace all the broken results and the damage to my dry wall after the pictures fell.

  • Only Thing I Use
    Reviewed at //www.command.com/

I use these all of the time, on my whole house! I never have a problem. If something is really heavy then I use traditional anchors which is common sense. These are the best and when in doubt I add an extra one. I wish they came in super large boxes!

    Reviewed at //www.command.com/

They hang on the wall, but definitely do not come off cleanly at all as advertised... especially after being on the wall for a while. The pull strips broke easily when trying to remove them!! Had to literally pull them off the wall... damaged walls significantly!

I bought these strips a few months ago for a round mirror I wanted to hang in my entry way. I knew that hanging this large mirror would be a challenge, so I immediately bought these strips. I put them on mirror and put it on the wall. No measuring, no holes in my wall, and it's perfectly level and flush. Now, I use these strips for EVERYTHING!!

  • Never again
    Reviewed at //www.command.com/

My girlfriend bought several packages of command strips and new frames to hang pictures in our new home. We followed the directions. For the first 2 days all was good. Untill the middle of the night we were woken buy a loud crash. Only to find one of the frames on the new frames on the floor broken! I'm so mad!! Not only did we spend $15.00 on the command strips and $12.00 on a now broken picture frame . I'm worried the rest of the pictures are going to fall off. What garbage very unhappy with this product. I will go back to the old fashioned way of hanging pictures
