Materials in question... I got this briefcase for my "on the go" husband. We were immediately impressed by the style and craftsmanship... Until we read the tag attached to the item. Although the maker has produced these cases for over 100 years, it was disheartening to find, clearly printed on the label "This product contains materials known in the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other diseases. Once we read it again, allowing it to sink in... We decided to immediately return it. Considering this is an item that he would touch almost daily, there was no way we could keep such a thing. He was a little disappointed to return something he's wanted for so long and what we thought was a value. It's surely no value. It tells you so on the label. No product should be able to be sold with those health ramifications. My opinion.

Cheap I'm not sure if I will be keeping this case. I should of known by the price but it look just like my husbands so I got it for him since he needs a new case. I guess I will wait and see if he likes it. It is very light. I think my 12 year old school maybe could use it for a prop. Doesn't seem like it will be able to carry anything. It seems to me more like a Halloween prop then a actual brief case for work.
