Read All Reviews for Kroo Couture Case with Kickstand for Apple iPad

It is somewhat difficult to find good cases for the 1st generation iPad. That's probably what you're looking for if you are reading this. My folks have a first gen and their original case was held together with duct tape (at least the color matched) that made the whole thing look like 'crap'. Since they frequently forget passwords, how to reboot, and other things, it was important to find a case that had little pockets or other means to hold scraps of paper with this info. I looked a lot and although I wanted to get one made of genuine leather with pockets, the ones I found were outrageously (!) priced - at least for me. So I settled for this faux leather version. They like it a lot. Since they use it 95% while sitting on a couch, the stand-up grooves or whatever people use to prop it up while it is flat on a table is not important to them. Of note, I have been using an iPad Air for a few years now and I have never (!) had occasion to use the stand up features of my own Apple branded leather case. This is probably also because we also pretty much use it while on the couch. I think the wife and I may have taken it out of the house once in about 3 years or so. We go to coffee houses to drink coffee, not do homework or Facebook. So we may be different from those who camp in the coffee houses and cafes, prop up their iPad, take out their keyboards, plug in their earphones and nurse a latte for hours at a time. In summary, this case is perfectly sized for a first gen iPad, is made of seemingly good quality, textured faux leather, provides great protection, has a few little pockets for storing scraps of paper with passwords, etc. That it came in colors other than boring black was also a bonus.
