We had previously used 2 sided carpet tape which gives way eventually... this was incredibly easy to place down and get flat and does the trick perfectly to keep the rugs in place and doesn't let them slide around. Good long term alternative.

I was surprised how much a difference this pad makes under our area rugs. Much plusher on your feet, yet it will dry out when we have to spot clean (we have dogs) The pad also saves our real hardwood floors under the rug which can be abrasive. Good buy helped a lot too !

The pad sticks to the floor, but the rug doesn't stick to the pad. Bought several of these type of pads from different manufacturers and all have the same issue.

Don't even think about having a rug without one of these. It works fantastic...like glue for your rug. Seriously. Buy it for every rug.

This pad works well with the nuLOOM Diamond Trellis Wool/Cotton rug! It gives the rug just the extra bit of padding it needs and holds everything in place. We have 2 active kids and 2 little dogs and this pad does its job.

I only wish the website would tell you not to use with heated floors!
