Last year we tried to have a nice garden, with tomatoes, herbs, blueberries. But we started having a varmint issue. There was a groundhog eating all of our vegetables in our garden. I searched for a way to catch the groundhog and relocate to a more secluded wooded area where it could adapt and live. I along with my family didn't want to kill the animal, after all it was looking for food and our garden was the closest thing to his living area. So I set the trap with some cut up apples and waited until the next few days, and then low and behold the groundhog was caught. After taking precautions not to scare the poor thing I let the family take some selfies (LOL) and then drove the groundhog to his new area to live away from people and into the woods. Releasing the animal was easy, just open the door and stand back away from the trap and out ran the groundhog, alive and safe to go live his life. My garden is now back to being animal free.
