This is a great ottoman for the money. Very sturdy and well made. Can be used for extra seating as well, although it's pretty hard to sit on. The brown color matches my brown leather sofa perfectly.

We have had this item for over 4 years now and absolutely love it! The storage area is generous. We can store about 4 full size afghans in it so that they are not lying all over the family room when not in use. The tray side comes in very handy for snacks and drinks!

Decent enough for the money
The tray table is handy for cocktail hour with friends and family but a bit awkward to pull out. The corners have chipped during this operation but a black sharpie makes the chipped areas disappear. Our cat's claws marked up the top in the first week, so we are leaving the tray up and have a folded blanket to put our feed on.

It is a better leather. Won't separate or crack open. Better quality.

Bonded leather is made from pulverized pieces of leather and then some how they put it back together. The directions say not to use leather cleaning or leather protection products on it. I worry about it cracking and drying out. I've only had my piece for 6 months and so far so good. I returned this ottoman because it was to big for my space. I purchased 2 bonded leather ottomans and a bonded leather chair from Christopher Knight. I really like them, sturdy & well made. Hope this helps!
