Bought this for my daughter and her family of 6 for Christmas and they love the set! Beautiful!!!

Knives don't seem to be of the same quality of the other pieces, as they are rusting. Melamine removes it but it seems to be a poor quality steel.

I ordered this to replace/fill in a set I had purchased several years ago because I'm missing pieces. I have always loved this silverware and was very pleased they still have the exact set I have. The set I have still looks great & they still match. Very happy!

We have been using this set for about two weeks. It washed beautifully in the dishwasher and feels good in our hands. The hostess set is perfect. I am very happy with this set.

This is the shiniest flatwear I've ever had, so shiny that I think it cheapens the look of the set. In addition, the dinner forks and soup spoons are oversized to the point of being ludicrous. The soup spoons in particular are what I'd call serving spoon size and won't be seeing a lot of action at the table. On the plus side, they have a nice heft. If I hadn't had a 20% coupon I would have *really* felt I overpaid.

Great for the price. Gave to granddaughter who is now in her first apartment and she was thrilled. Good quality for the price. Thank you.

Had the cheaper 18/0 version and liked it. Was tried of seeing the rust appear. Tried this and its perfect. No rust! Very happy

Great silverware! Exactly like what I wanted

We are quite pleased with this set as this is the second time we have purchased it. The only downside is each piece comes individually wrapped, but I think that is common for packaging flatware. The upside of that is, the pieces are not likely to arrive scratched. Definitely would recommend this set.

Take note that this set also comes in a lesser quality stainless. Perhaps this is why "JOHN'S REVIEW" was a bad one. I have had my set of Continental Hammered by Wallace for at least 2 years or more. Except for a few surface scratches here and there from constant everyday use, the set is as good as new. It is very durable, medium heavyweight and continental (oversized) in style. I love it. Because it is beautifully hammered, it can withstand everyday use and most light scratches don't show at all. One should not use a dishwashing detergent that contains lemon in their dishwashers. Even liquid dish soap that contains citrus might damage your flatware if you handwash. If this set, which is made of 18/10 stainless discolors or rusts in your dishwasher, then there is something wrong with the product you're using in your dishwasher. Proper care of your flatware can be googled and downloaded. Dishwasher safe does not mean it's ok to abuse these utensils with harsh detergents and cleansers. I highly recommend Wallace's Continental Hammered 18/10 stainless flatware to everyone.

The silverware started rusting with in the 1st month of use.

Love the hammered look and like the largeness of the utensils. Look great after been in dishwasher.

I was hoping to match my existing set of flatware with this set but discovered this must be an inexpensive version as my set is much more dimensional, particularly the knife. I think I bought the original set from Horchow. This is a good value and I personally think it's a very attractive design for everyday use. Good value, just don't expect more than the style.

Excellent quality, unique style. These pieces feel good in your hand--substantial and beautiful. We have a 60's house and got hammered polished nickel cabinet pulls to maintain some if the old feel but but update the kitchen, and these are a perfect compliment. Elegant and practical but still with a handmade feel. I like that the set also came with a few service pieces--excellent value for the price. Comparable to something you'd find at pottery barn or a much higher end store.
