Glad I went outside my comfort zone with this piece. Remodeled family room and needed a statement piece for my wall of family photos. This is perfect for the "family tree" concept I was looking for. It is large, and so is my selected walls. The hanging fixture is very sturdy and sticks out about an inch from the back. This enhances the already 3D look of the art and casts small shadows around it for a really WOW effect. This artisan is enormously talented!!
I like this piece. It nicely fills a large section of wall and has great movement to it. The painted area is pretty basic (cartoonish) and that is reflected by the relatively low price.
This is a very attractive wall sculpture and the stones were in-tact on our shipment, packaged well. My 4 star was because the description of "painted bronze" and the screen color would seem to be a brown color--which is actually black. I inquired if all the trees were painted black, and if they were indeed more of a brown color as depicted, please exchange. I was told all the tree branches are black (which I didn't want). Exchanging this large box was possible, but if you want brown branches, just be aware, these are wrought iron black! Otherwise it's a nice piece.
