Even though I don't care for the gold paint (my problem; didn't accurately see in photo), this is a charming little piece of art--I really like it.
It is amazing how a drab room can be instantly jazzed up with these additions, have them on the wall to cheer me up. People always say nice things about my dragonfly.
The colors on this butterfly are vibrant and the hand painted detail is lovely. It's a smaller piece than expected, but I will be keeping it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not five is that the backing is prefab and very flimsy. It almost feels like some kind of synthetic material not metal.
This would get a 5 star review except that what looks like two-toned wood ... is actually a very bright garish gold paint. If I can't tone it down, I won't use it!
