The bench is good looking when you finish... but.... 1. have an Allen ("hex") wrench bit with a ratchet driver as the one provided is terrible in the many tight spaces 2. be prepared to adjust the benchtop hinges... they align poorly and will leave a gap instead of closing tightly 3. use an electric screwdriver and keep a drill handy... the pilot holes may be a bit incomplete

Very True to color, Accurate Measurement, Easy Assembly

Putting this bench together was very easy because of the directions were TOP notch. Also the pieces were labeled and were well fitting. I would order from here agin. My hat is tipped off to this company and seller as we are very pleased. Thank you again for a great product. Mike

It's ok , looks like a kid bench in the entryway, not what I expected. We put it together in an hour so it wasn't too bad.

I love the look of this bench and it's pretty good quality. My only misgiving is how difficult it was to assemble. I still haven't been able to attach the hardware for the bench seat but I don't really use the storage. I would recommend this product.

Nice entry way bench! It appears to be well made and priced fairly. The instructions could be more specific and this bench is time consuming to assemble.

Nice quality, easy assembly.

Such a great piece! The building directions could have used a few extra pointers but overall was doable with 2 people. The coolest thing was that the bag with all the screws/nuts/etc. had a red ribbon attached to it that was visible from the outside of the box as well! Brilliant!!! Great product!

This is a beautiful, sturdy bench in a deep espresso color (not quite black, but very dark). We have it in our entry hall and it's great to sit on to remove one's shoes, etc. The only reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 star rating is because my husband felt that the assembly directions were unclear and that resulted in a bit of stress. Once assembled, he was thrilled with the result.

Great in entryway lid offers great storage area

The color in the picture looks like it has a nice mahogany tone to it, however, when I took it out of the box it was black.

This looks great in my hallway. I will say it was a little challenging to put together. It's more for looks and occasional use, but overall we like it.

This is a product which will pose some challenges for the average person to assembly, there are about 12 pieces and a bag of Parts. overall it is average product, price point is about right for the product, fair design.

Looks nice in my entryway... I did make an error in assembling it which causes a couple of the screws & wood plugs to show but overall it's a nice bench. Just play close attention to the details when assembling.

I was very disappointed in this item because it was entirely too small. Looks like a child's bench because the height is very short. I should have paid better attention on the measurements. It's rich in color but black not brown. All in all I paid too much money for an item that I'm not satisfied with.
