We have a Dyson Animal from 12 years ago that is still going strong. With five cats it's SUPER important to have a vacuum that sucks - literally, not figuratively! The husband wanted this one, for silly reasons, and I bought it for him for Father's Day. (Yes, ladies, I did!) He loves it! It doesn't hold much, in contrast to the larger upright, but he uses it constantly. He vacuums the stairs, under furniture, sofa and chair cushions, and even the curtains. (Five cats, remember?) So, while I prefer the larger, upright one, if this little devil is going to cause others to help clean the house...well, glory hallelujah!
