Unfinished Shaker Extended Length Console Table

This was the perfect console table to hold some flowers behind my sofa. I covered it with a floor-length cloth, and it went together in minutes. It would be quite easy to stain or paint it to match any decor as well.

We could not find sofa tables that was the right length! This one fit the space perfectly! Clean, simple, classic lines. Less than 10 minutes to assemble. I will say that it took SEVERAL coats of stain to achieve the honey-oak finish we were going for. But we are very satisfied with the finished product!

As noted, this wood is difficult to stain. My ever-patient husband re-stained it 5 times to get the look he wanted. You cannot use standard stain; definitely not a water based stain. We used a poly-stain. The end result was worth the effort. Love the length and simple design.

This table was easy to assembly & is very sturdy. The wood is true to the color in the picture. Great hallway table or under the TV table! Has great lines.

I wanted a long, narrow table to sit at and apply my makeup. This one's perfect for people who wear glasses - the depth lets me to scoot up to the mirror to see what I'm doing. It's a good solid, sturdy table that holds all of my makeup, perfume, and hairbrushes, etc. I highly recommend it!

I really like this table. I bought it specifically for the extended length. I stained it and it came out quite nice - as expected, the staining isn't completely even but it still has a great look to it. It is very sturdy and works great as a bar behind my sofa. There was a chip in it when it arrived which is my only complaint. Otherwise, easy to put together and very pleased with the purchase!

Stained this with diluted oil based paint and it looks great.

This table is long and not very wide which is perfect as a console table or a sideboard. It will do double duty for us as a dining table with adjustable height counter stools. Perfect for a tight space that needs furniture to be multi-purpose. It is sturdy and super easy to assemble. It is also light and easy to move around. It looks great natural but I might paint it in the future just because I like painted furniture.

Perhaps the best quality unfinished piece of furniture I've ever purchased! Easy assembly, takes paint like a champ and love the long clean lines. A real score in my opinion:)

I'm using this table as a sofa table and it's really sturdy and nice. I was afraid this table would look cheap, but it ooks great with a bowl for keys and vase of flowers. Works because my dining table is also unfinished wood so they work well together in the open living/dining room.

Although this table comes unfinished, the table I received had hidden flaws covered with fillers and glue that were invisible until stain was applied. As soon as I stained it the big ugly blotches immediately showed up - right in the middle of the top surface! So now, after all that work, I have to cover it with a runner. What a rip off and a waste of my time and effort.

A really great quality piece. I am using it behind my 76 inch sofa as an additional place to eat. I have two stand dining chairs under it, with plenty of room for two people. I intend to spray paint it an antique white.

I looked around a lot before finding this table and decided to give it a try, even though it was unfinished, because it was the right size. I'm glad I did. I stained it mahogany and it looks great behind my sofa. (I used a wood conditioner before applying the stain, applied 2 coats of stain, then 2 coats of poly.)

Table is incredibly solid for such an inexpensive piece! Really happy with it! Think I need to stain it though as it looks unfinished.
