I wanted a cart to paint and antique to match my lower kitchen cabinets. Parawood does not stain well, so I wouldn't buy it to stain. Paint raises the grain, but if you fine sand between coats and poly a couple of coats to seal, it comes out great! Worked perfectly for me. Sturdy, well made and easy to put together. Gave 4 stars because of the raised grain issue, but if you do it right it becomes 5 stars. Very happy.

This piece is nice and sturdy but as I was putting it together the bottom of the legs and part of the base was broken. I was very disappointed to see that. I did not send it back because it is a very heavy piece and I could not carry it myself to get it retuned. Otherwise I would of given it a 5 star.

The size of this island was exactly what I had been searching for. The fact that it was unfinished was a plus, I wanted to paint it an outrageous color anyway. It arrived quickly and in good condition. The wood was beautiful and I was a little ashamed of myself for painting it. I painted it before it was assembled. This allowed me to easily paint the interior a different color than the exterior. It was very easy to assemble. Everything fit together perfectly. I now have a beautiful orange cabinet with yellow interior and some funky porcelain knobs, that I found locally, in my kitchen. Thank you Overstock!

I had found this item locally, but was able to save almost $$$ by ordering from Great Offer Stock.com. It arrived in perfect condition, although the box had some wear and tear, but this was expected for an item weighing 100 pounds. It was exactly what I wanted and needed!

Very solid & easy to assemble. Work great in my kitchen to give additional work space.

This little cabinet is awesome! It's roomy, sturdy, and attractive! A very good buy.
