Very nice looking garbage can, looks just like the photo. Great capacity for a 1-bedroom kitchen. Inside canister allows you to sorta wrap the top of the garbage bag underneath so it's not an eyesore, but the bag edges peak out all along between the top and the main can.
The biggest weakness is the top, for 2 reasons:
1) The step pedal doesn't feel super sturdy, so while it does open the top, I wonder how long it'll work sufficiently. Feels a bit flimsy.
2) The angle of the top opening prevents the can from sitting flush against the wall behind it. Needs a few inches of clearance.
For the price, it's fine, but for $20-30 more, in retrospect I may have "splurged" for the simpleHuman version.
