This is a sturdy little pouf. I was worried about some of the reviews saying it came apart. So far, I've not had any bad luck. It looks very hand made which is what I was looking for. It serves as a foot stool or a stool for sitting on or even as an end table. Versatile little piece. Finally, I was worried that it would smell bad--the jute--but it didn't have any smell at all.

Perfect ottoman
I ordered this jute pouf for our nursery. I love the style and thought it was a perfect fit. HOWEVER- we have used it less than three months and it’s ripping on the main seam. Totally unacceptable for a *** foot stool that has been hardly used.

It is not meant for outside use. I would not recommend it outdoors unless it was under a covered patio or sun porch. Would likely fade in the sun also.

I use mine as a footrest. It does make an indentation but puffs right back up again. It is plenty sturdy to put your your feet up on it.

Yes, very sturdy, I love this item, I use it as a foot rest at night while watching television, you can even place a drink on it, however, it has a small fist size dip directly in the middle, I am guessing that is to put your heal in, so I do.
