This piece of furniture is beautiful and very easy to put together. However! The legs are wobbly and untrustworthy. I was 100% finished building it, and within 30 seconds the back leg immediately broke off and the other 3 were left swinging like a couple of bar doors in a bad western. The only tool provided to tighten the legs is a *** sized wrench, so I suggest hiring your college friend's fiancé who works as a master carpenter to reenforce the legs instead of going to *** at 9:30PM to buy "wood glue" that "works" on metal and wood.

Love this MCM brutalist piece! I was able to assemble alone (although a second person would be much better). Looks great - makes my room look larger with its slim, low profile and legs, fits 48" tv great. One screw hole wasn't aligned perfectly on one of the rails so the drawer catches slightly, but I am not in the drawers often so doesn't bother me. Color and style are beautiful for the price. My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner!

I absolutely love this entertainment center. It is literally exactly what I wanted at a great price, very well made, and well packaged! It takes patience to assemble, but I did not mind :)

I saw some reviews mentioning some damages, specifically the corner of the furniture. In fact mine show up with damage on the bottom corner, the packaging was not damage, and the challenge sending back make me tried to repair it, not do good, however less obvious. Too bad the item look nice and should be perfect.

This piece takes some effort to assemble but is a very sturdy entertainment center. The finish and details are great and fit perfectly in our mid-century living room. The shelves are easy to adjust and allowed us to fit a number of electronics. The drawers slide effortlessly and are well sized for gaming system components (they do not fit DVDs or media well). Very happy with this item!

I loved the style of this piece and was happy to see that others had thought it was a quality item. I couldn't agree more. It is solid and is classy and functional. Highly recommended if the style will fit in your room.

This entertainment center is very stylish and unique. I only gave it four stars because I wish it was a bit taller. The inside of the draws are kind of flimsy as well. Overall, It's a very attractive piece of furniture.

A pain to put together, but in the end, could not be happier with how well this piece looks and feels. Highly recommend.

This is a very cool piece- nothing too cookie-cutter about it. The wood looks rich. I'm really happy with its looks, quality and functionality. No surprises from the pictures/description. (Note on the color: It's described as a "tobacco" finish..so it's maybe a tad darker than in the photos but nothing out of the acceptable range. I'm happy with it!) As for the assembly, the husband (an engineer who relishes building furniture I buy online) said: "Not for novices-- the instructions had 2 steps which needed to be kind of... interpreted. But anybody with experience would get what they were talking about. Outside of that, it was pretty easy to assemble but it did require a lot or space to build."

I was looking for a TV stand that fits our space and the existing furnishings when I found this one. It was out of stock at the time so I looked more online but keep coming back to this---the dimensions and design alone would have me sold and I had to say I was a bit skeptical about the price. Many many other ones that I looked at were two or three times more expensive and not as functional as this one for us (they are either too short or too wide, have all solid doors or drawers [we want open shelves or glass doors for the remote controls], or too modern-looking with mixed color material...). I ordered it as soon as it came back in stock after about a month. Now that it is assembled and sitting in our family room, I can tell you that this is a very solidly built furniture and I still cannot believe the price for a piece that is mostly solid wood. We cannot be happier with our purchase.

I shopped around for months in preparation for moving into a new apartment. I kept coming back to this piece because unlike a lot of furniture these days it has some style! The wood stain was a nice deep brown without looking muddy and the inlaid check detail and half open-half drawer look gives it a balanced look while also offering some asymmetry. That combo really worked for me. Also, to find that much style for two or three times less than what I was finding on other websites helped a lot. Given the lower price, I was concerned it would show up and be cheap or junky. I was really surprised at high quality the wood was, how well the pieces fit together during assembly, and what a solid and sturdy piece it becomes. I love this. The downside (the missing star) is that the directions to assemble are...lacking some finer details...but we figured it out and are really happy with the results.

Beautiful wood and well made. As sturdy as it looks in the picture. Missing 2 pages of instructions though and we still haven't received them even though we requested them weeks ago. Luckily I'm good at figuring things out and assembled it with a bit of trial and error.

Beautiful, love the style, nothing damaged, wood is gorgeous, drawers glide smoothly. Takes time to put together, but my husband did it by himself. Want more of this furniture line!

Looks great. Assembly was straightforward and took one person about 90 minutes.

I've had this piece for several months now. Assembly is always a bit frustrating for me, but compared to other pieces I have put together, this one wasn't so bad. Definitely a two person job, though. I have gotten several compliments on it and I love looking at it. I want to get the dresser too!

While I love the look of this piece and it has transformed the feel of our living room and I have no regrets with the purchase you should know that DVDs will not fit in these drawers unless you lay them flat on top of each other vs on their side so you can read the spine. I had intentions of storing the kids DVDS in there but now have two empty drawers. Not a bad thing completely as it forces me to downsize our DVD collection however something to note. The look is awesome!
