Beautiful This was delivered in a well protected box. Each piece was perfect except for one which had a small nick on a back piece. Easy to put together, very sturdy and looks beautiful. Is pretty much a standard white so goes with any other white paint as long as its white and not off white. Holds a lot of books or nick nacks. One foot was slightly off (a little wobble) but it also could be my floor. We just put a shim under and steady as she goes!

Great! The bookshelf itself is great. There were some difficulties with assembly. There were some missing parts that the company could not replace, so we had to try to find pieces from the hardware store.

Sturdy, good construction The pluses: This is a sturdy, solid wood piece. This isn't some MDF nightmare you're going to want to replace in a year or two, but a great piece of furniture that you're going to hold on to awhile. It's beautiful to look at. It looks like an expensive piece of furniture. My only real gripes are pretty nit-picky: 1) several small chips in the paint. For the price, it seems like including a small bottle of touch up paint would take this review over the top. 2) The top of the bookcase is not flat. There is about 1/2" drop from the decorative edge to the flat top...I like to display things on top of my bookcases so this is going to be something I have to work around. 3) This one almost seems not worth mentioning, but the seem in the back piece annoys me. Again I find myself asking if it would have been that difficult to have a solid back piece instead of one that is taped together. Other things: This is a pure white shelf. Not country white or antique white or off white. The drawer is lower than I pictured it. It's exactly where it shows in the picture, but I guess the angle made me think it was higher? If you have kids, they can and will be getting in this drawer.
