Love the 'old-time' look and also that it is much more light weight than if made entirely from iron. It makes the perfect bed for my Mom and she loves it!

This is a great bed. Very sturdy. Purchased in the white and looks very cottage chic.

First, no mention was made that order would be in two boxes, one arrived before the other which prompted a call to Great Offer Stock, who finally mentioned the second box and said it was to arrive following day. Second, upon assembly noticed an entire support slot for the mattress frame had never been welded on! Needed the bed ASAP as using to stay on one level after some surgery, so just tied the frame on in the spot missing. Honestly, no extra squeaks or drop in the frame so not going to return, but...seems like an important thing to check before sending out (from China). Look of the bed is just great and fits into our decor very well.

I am very pleased with my daybed. It is sturdy, color is true to picture, and is just what I had hoped it would be. I would recommend it to a friend.

We bought this bed for a kiddo. It hold up well, is easy to assemble and looks great. We bought the off white, which came with no scratches or dents. Overall we were pleased.

I found this to be easy to put together (by myself). I was a little freaked out when the first half came 4 days before the second half, and sadly, there was a scrape on one part due to the packaging being severely damaged in transit. That being said, I'm very happy with it; it makes a lovely addition to my art studio!

I ordered this for my husband's office as a spare bed or seating. It is very heavy, not flimsy. It assembled easily although it should be assembled in the room you want it. We didn't so when it wouldn't fit through the door, we had to disassemble it, get it through the door and reassemble it. It did arrive with a small area of paint missing. We bought a quality mattress for it as the platform is firm. Satisfied with the design and bronze color.

Since I mix oak antiques with my other furniture I was thrilled to find this. It blends well with everything. It is substantial without being too heavy. Nice to only need a mattress. Have a patchwork quilt on it and it looks great.

Bought for daughter's dorm room. It will function as a bed and sofa with storage underneath. Looks great and made with quality. The paint finish is gently distressed. Straight forward assembly. Recommend two people. The bed is made for a twin size mattress. Some listings has it accommodating a twin XL mattress. Unfortunately, that is incorrect. I have been looking for a twin XL daybed for my 6' son. The gray finish Giselle daybed would have been perfect if it would fit a twin XL mattress.

What to do? I really like this daybed. It has the same lines and feel as my authentic brass bed upstairs. But since I am chronically ill, I needed somewhere to lie downstairs too and I fell in love with this daybed. It is sturdy, went together easily, and I have no complaints except one. I'm really torn as to how many stars to get this product. Everything I have said up until now would have gotten it a five. However, about a week and a half after I got it, I was sleeping and woke up and wanted to scrunch myself further toward the top of the bed not realizing that I already was pretty close to the top of the bed. The result was that I bumped my head pretty hard on one of the horizontal bars and ended up with a concussion! (I might note here that I have never done that with my bed upstairs) My solution was to buy a giant body pillow and pad the head of the bed and slightly around the corner. I needed to switch to a smaller pillow for my head because the body pillow is so fluffy and big that it pushed my feet almost to the bottom, but so far it has worked well. I wouldn't try this if you are much taller than I am – I am 5 foot 3 1/2. So, five stars for the look, the set up, and the fact that it looks fantastic tucked in the corner of my dining room, and zero stars for the fact that you can injure yourself pretty easily. So, plan on padding the head of the bed somehow if you get this product and actually plan to have someone sleep in it.

My guest room is filled with antiques inherited from my mother. I needed a guest bed, however a conventional headboard and mattress took up too much room and I was not impressed with the quality of sofa bed mattresses in comparison with the price. Then I found this daybed, which fit the decor and size of the room perfectly. It is a good value, arrived quickly, and was easy to asssemble. What's not to like?
