We purchased the gold rods and it looks like someone took black rods and hastily painted them gold. They're flimsy and seem like they'll easily break. Not worth the $30.

I like the concept of this better than the actual execution and look. When fully extended the rod doesn't hang level; I'd say it dips down at least 10degrees from horizontal. It's not strong enough to keep lightweight 82"L curtains extended to 38" hanging level. Might be okay for short curtains?

These swing arm rods are very poor quality. The paint chips easily, the set screw is very large, and it seems the threads were spray painted to the point the end balls were very difficult to get started threading on. I have bought several brands of these ( tho I can't remember them right off) that were very much a better quality rod.

These are great because you can throw them open for light!

Worked out so well for our application!

I was so excited to see thes swinging rods. They fit our need perfectly. They don't swing level. We triple checked with our level before mounting the brackets. Each one is level when swinging to the left, but each one sags down about an inch when swinging to the right. A little confused on this, and it looks really strange.

Attractive way to frame window

The patina on these is lovely and they were easy to install and set up in the bedroom where I used them. I loved that we can open the windows up broadly now and get light into the room but privacy when we need it

I purchased these to add light panels on either side of my tub and didn't want a rod going across. These work perfectly and look great!!

I was pleased to find just this kind of rod. We have it mounted on French doors leading out to a patio and they work very well. Just as with two other lengths of Barricade rods, I would order again.

The wall anchor screws did not hold and fell out. They were not strong enough to mount in drywall. Over time all failed.

If you don't install the bracket on a slant, the rod will hand on a downward angle, even with rather light curtains. Otherwise, the whole idea of swing rods is wonderful and they work nicely, now that the adjustment has been made.

It's a lovely curtain rod! When it was extended to allowable length it drooped & didn't line up evenly. We had to put a screw in the wall for the rod to sit on so it wouldn't droop. Your customer shouldn't have to make further adjustments to make a $*rod fit properly.

These rods are packed 2 in a package and are just what I needed for windows in an old house with angled walls around the windows.
