The curtains are of a smooth, silk material. They look beautiful over my patio doors & fit the standard sized patio doors perfectly! I didn't have to hem them! The rod was already in place from the last owner. The venetian blinds are installed inside the glass so I can block out the sun. Closing the curtains on top of that, has kept my house nice & cool!

I bought two 100 X 84 inch panels for my 80 X 75 inch sliding glass window frame and they look great. Also purchased a wrap around curtain rod to go with them. High heat iron with lots of steam took most of the wrinkles out. Blocks out sun, noise and drafts.

This is a great curtain panel for my sliding glass door. The color is as described and the size is perfect. It blocks the sun completely and now that it is getting colder it is helping keep the heat in. I love it!!

What kind of rod would I need that DOES NOT have a center bracket, as a center bracket would allow the panel to close only halfway?"

You will need a rod that's 1-3/8" in diameter. Or you could get a wooden poll the same size. I was told to get a steel rod.
